225 miles per gallon from XR-3 plug-in hybrid

Many of us are counting the days until Robert Q. Riley Enterprises; LLC introduces the XR-3 plug-in hybrid. There is so much hype that surrounds this three-wheeled sports car, as it could be possible to get at least 225 miles per gallon out of these two-seater hybrid cars.

The vehicle has been designed to come in kit form, and if you have no mechanical abilities, do not worry as the XR-3 plug-in hybrid can be assembled by anyone.

As with hybrid vehicles, the XR-3 works much in the same way, you have a three-cylinder diesel engine that powers the front wheels, while the rear wheel has an electric motor on it.

While just using the diesel engine it is expected to get at least 125 miles to the gallon, but once working in conjunction with the electric motor, that is when you can achieve up to 225 miles per gallon.
