You're browsing: Home » Could a Clean Diesel Replace a Hybrid?
Category: News | January 29th, 2007

If you are like many others on the planet and would like to purchase a more eco friendly car the chances are many of us think about a hybrid vehicle but there are many people saying that this is not the future and that as there are plans for a clean diesel and that it should replace the standard diesel by the year 2010 then this should be the way to go
This new clean diesel will have around 97% less sulphur and as a result will help to reduce both soot and nitrogen oxides by around 90% and we all know that diesel engines do give you from 20 to 40 percent better fuel economy

But why would we have to give up on the whole hybrid idea just remember that diesel just like gasoline/petrol will not be around for much longer so if we stick with the hybrid idea with these clean diesels just think how much MPG you could get then
