EU Commission not wanting a Greener Future

Many of us under what is going on with the European Commission as they have not yet announced a legislation that they said they would to bring a new target for cars carbon levels which was going to be set at 120g per kilometre, oh they always have some big words to say like “We are going to lead the world in the fight against climate change” but it is a true sign that they are not serious about this topic otherwise they would have all agreed on the commission

If the plan is to go ahead it would mean that the car makers in Europe would have to reach a carbon dioxide emissions limit of 120g per km by the year 2012 and that would have been a great step in the fight against global warming, it really fills you with confidence when they cannot decide what is good for the future of the planet
Many of the car makers have voiced their concerns of this proposed legislation and say that if their cars have to meet these new targets then it would push the price of cars up in Europe, but I feel that this is just a bit of scare tactics from the car makers
